While C/A/T has taken a purely vocal-based, EBM style with recent recordings, Captive Six snares the raw and harsh instrumental recordings Arp was originally known for. Noizemaker is a re-contextualization of a track C/A/T originally wrote in 2004. Five years later, Arp tackles this track again from a different perspective. We have included as a bonus track only if purchased on disc or digitally from Captive Six is the original mix of the C/A/T track which is currently otherwise unavailable anywhere else. Captive Six was born due to the need for C/A/T's Ben Arp to continue writing instrumental electronic music. As C/A/T shifts to a more traditional vocal-based, electronic sound... Captive Six will diverge down the path of electronic dance music.

The debut of Captive Six was officially released on June 2nd, 2009 in the form of the "Noizemaker" EP which features a rewriting of the original C/A/T track as well as several new and original tracks. The EP is now widely available on digital distribution sites (ie. iTunes, Amazon, Shockhound, etc.) and is also still available in a limited disc format direct from Crunch Pod Mail Order.

Captive Six plans to release several digital EPs over the course of 2010.
