C/A/T is back with a vengeance and proves this ever-changing project has not gone anywhere since 2008's "The Great Crisis".
From the opening track (a nod to "The Great Crisis") to the somber and unsettling finale - Ben Arp re-establishes C/A/T as a band to keep an attentive eye on. The meat of this EP is a core of 4 songs that feature some of the most structured and melodic sounds ever to appear on a C/A/T release. C/A/T ups the ante with dark, harsh and accusatory vocal work that shadows even the lyrical and vocal content from 2007's "Point Of No Return".
Also included is a re-working of the 2007 track "Dead To Me". Arp has stripped this track to it's core and rebuilt it from the ground up into a far more melodic and aggressive track than the original.
"We Are Still Alive" is some of the most honest and compelling work from C/A/T and gives only a taste of what to expect from 2010's "Chaos And Terror" album.

C/A/T presents a complete re-working of 2007's "Point Of No Return" album by some of the hottest new and established acts in the industrial scene today!

C/A/T takes another step forward with this amazing new concept CD: The Great Crisis.
A soundtrack to an unfilmed scientific disaster, fans of C/A/T's earlier work like The Prisoner will enjoy this as well as those turned on to the more dancable fare of the ATF and Point of No Return CDs. This fully instrumental disc explores C/A/T's range of styles from very different perspectives, with music reminiscent of everything from Front 242's legendary Tyranny For You to idm-inspired rhythmic noise, yet all with a unique twist.
Accept no substitutes, and accept no (l)imitations-- C/A/T is back with another intense, contagious release.

C/A/T's Point of No Return bridges the prolific project's last 2 offerings-- The Rogue Pair and ATF-- and promptly burns that bridge to absolute hell.
Inspired by dozens of high-energy U.S. shows in the last two years with top name acts, C/A/T's distinctive hard, addictive basslines and clever sampling remain, but PONR now adds vocals and additional stomp appeal to club-ready tracks, throwing out all the preconceived notions of what the project was but simultaneously adding to its best elements in the process.
Get ready for what will inevitably considered a major step forward in the evolution of C/A/T. The prisoner has escaped, so be ready for the onslaught as there's no going back now.

C/A/T returns with an EP called "ATF" after the highly successful 'The Rogue Pair' release from late 2005. Even more geared towards the dance floor than 'The Rogue Pair', 'ATF' features exclusive remixes from Terrorfakt [a mix of "Enemy Within"] and Caustic [a booty-shaking mix of "Enhancer"]. C/A/T supplies alternate takes of "Enhancer" and "A Line In The Sand" and rounds things out with 2 brand new tracks + a link to a bunch of free online extras.
Originally, the intent was not to release anything between "The Rogue Pair" and the next full album, but due to the success of "The Rogue Pair" and some great tracks not fitting thematically with the next album, C/A/T decided to deliver this EP on June 6th, 2006 [the ever intriguing 06/06/06 date] and limit this release strictly to 666 hand-numbered copies on CD format.

"The Rogue Pair" is the next logical step in the progression of the C/A/T project. Building off the momentum of "The Prisoner" C/A/T has added a member to the project and adopted a more straight forward and beat-oriented "power noise" sound. Adding a more ferocious and relentless rhythmic structure into the music, "The Rogue Pair" will grab you in and then pummel you with broken and distorted beat after broken and distorted beat.
This new release from C/A/T also takes a more personal and instrospective approach than the more worldly/socio-political overtones in "The Prisoner" and "Worldwide Totalitarian Control".

C/A/T follows up the critically acclaimed "Worldwide Totalitarian Control" EP with his debut full length album "The Prisoner". After years of compilation appearances and limited issue EP releases, C/A/T has fine tuned his sound and presents 10 tracks of conspiritorial electronic beat-driven music. Taking the aural and visual aesthetic of the obscure 1960s television show "The Prisoner" one step further, C/A/T creates a unique album that crosses genres but always returns to a rhythmic foundation. Somber melodies back dance-floor proven rhythms and accusatory and enlightening samples fill the remaining void. Also features a collaboration between C/A/T and Nein Recordings artist Epidemia.
The limited edition of 50 copies features a bonus CD-R featuring remixes from Manufactura, Epidemia, Endif, Chachi Jones, Free Death, Cisc, Dark Sands Of Jericho and Burn. Limited to 50 copies and available exclusively from Crunch Pod.

C/A/T's first non-CDR solo effort is a four track EP that is heavily influenced by the events of September 11, 2001 and the ripple effect the world has felt since. The four compositions on this EP are linked to a theory called Problem-Reaction-Solution and how it applies to world events. Taking a more experimental (but still rhythmic) approach, C/A/T delivers a solid first offering here.

An unrealized live recording of C/A/T material presented in continously mixed fashion. Very representative of the live C/A/T sound in the summer of 2001... before things got really out of control. Taking a more electro/dance approach as opposed to the free formed experiments of the past, C/A/T also presents a stark commentary on the status of things as they may be perceived by some and ignored by others. 2010 marks the beginning of the second decade of C/A/T! C/A/T was started in early 1999 by Crunch Pod label head, Ben Arp, as an experimental industrial project. Over the next 10 years C/A/T released four albums and four EPs and has made a number of compilation and guest remix appearances. C/A/T has also been very active as a live act - including a US Tour in 2008 supporting Unter Null and having shared a stage with a diverse range of acts ranging from Haujobb, Terrorfakt, Manufactura, Architect, Hocico, Babyland, Noisex and Caustic to name just a few.
2009, C/A/T's 10th year, was the most challenging for the band. Several touring opportunities fell through which postponed the release of an album Arp had planned for mid 2009. From the ashes of that album came the "We Are Still Alive" EP which marked the beginning of a new era for C/A/T.
C/A/T will change the band name to "Chaos And Terror" but is planning to release at least one more single/EP and full album in 2010 still using the "C/A/T" acronym. An advance EP is set for a digital only release in early Summer 2010 and the full album (To Be Titled) will be released in August 2010. C/A/T will be main support on the West Coast leg of the 2010 Manufactura US Tour.
